Experience with UPS, DHL and FedEx shipping, scheduling trucks and familiarity with shipping paperwork is a must. Experience with BPCS is a plus but not required. Must have some carpentry skills to be able to build skids, crates and boxes as needed for shipping. This is a 1st shift temp to hire position working 7:00am-3:30pm. Local printing company has an immediate need for an experienced material handler responsible for moving materials/scrap around the facility, as well as updating all necessary logs and putting material in the proper holding/staging area. Duties include operating various powered industrial trucks, coordinating scrap/trash removal and maintenance at various work centers and gathering and removing paper waste as needed throughout the facility. Manage the daily operation within the Recycling Center including the operation of various equipment, provide scrap and waste receptacles throughout the facility and clear lines of outgoing materials as directed by the shift lead. Must be able to read, follow and perform work instructions and perform other duties that may be assigned. Must have or be able to obtain a Lift Truck License. Requirements may include the use of the following types of Powered Industrial equipment: forklift, clamp truck, powered walkie, order picker, reach truck.
