Tool Maker-1st shift position working 6:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday. Qualified candidates must have 3-5 years of previous experience working as a Tool Maker and be experienced in reading and interpreting blueprints, using measuring tools such as calipers, possess basic mechanical abilities and be able to operate manual and some automatic machinery. Must have a willingness to learn, good communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with co-workers and customers. Must have a high school diploma/GED. Apprentice Tool Maker-1st shift position working 6:30am-4:00pm Monday- Friday. Qualified Candidates will learn the basic skills necessary to assist the lead tool makers in building trim dies and fixtures. This may include machining steel, sharpening tools and other duties as necessary. Must be willing to follow directions, have mechanical ability, and be willing to take classes towards an apprenticeship program and have basic math skills. Experience reading blue prints and using basic measurement instruments is desired. The ability to operate saws, roughing mills, surface grinders and drill presses would be a plus. Die Cast Operator-1st shift position working 7am-3pm with the mechanical ability to have working knowledge of equipment, machines and tools, work procedures, files and logs, records and inspection procedures. Must be accurate in the completion of paperwork and job duties and also be able to follow instructions. Qualified candidates will be responsible for Die Cast machine operation and casting of quality parts. Checking Die Cast machines for proper operation, doing visual inspection of Die Cast machines and all parts, hoses and related equipment. Testing limit switches, core slides, tonnage reading on tie bars and cleaning die for excess flash. This is a temp to hire position and wage is depending on experience.
