Staff Accountant – St. Joseph, MI. Must have Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; MBA or Master’s degree in Accounting optional. 150 credit hours (and other coursework if pursuing a graduate degree); begin taking the CPA exam. QuickBooks Pro Advisor certification ideal. Will participate in audit, review and compilation engagements, becoming proficient at preparing financial statements . Gather data for tax return preparation and maintain client tax files. Build good relationships with clients’ staff to foster requests for additional services and participate when possible in networking events, e.g., firm mixers, Chamber events, etc. Wage 50K-75K per year. Staff Accountant – St. Joseph, MI. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and plan on becoming a CPA. Must have experience with basic accounting, auditing and financial statements. Must also be experienced in the preparation of individual, partnership and corporate tax returns, and in developing accounting procedures. Hours will be Monday – Friday 8am-5pm, but during tax season will also include working Saturday mornings and no vacations will be allowed from January 1st to April 15th.
