Mechanical Assembler for 1st shift working 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday with overtime as needed. Position will involve the construction and assembly of furnace components per blueprints and schematic drawings. Working with engineers on correct component installation, lay out, fitting and welding components to build structural forms and operating machines such as a shear, press brake, plasma cutter, saws and drills. Must have experience with MIG welding, assembly, carpentry, painting and construction. High school diploma or GED is required along with 3-5 years of experience. E-Coat Technician for 1st shift working 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday plus overtime as needed. Must have 1-3 years of industrial spray paint application experience. This position will involve working with blueprints, color codes, mixing charts and utilizing verbal instructions. Duties will include preparing, matching and mixing primers, paints and coatings for correct consistency and viscosity, as well as selecting pressures, nozzles, oven temperatures and cure times. Will also prepare and clean surfaces to be finished as well as mask and plug surfaces not to be coated. Apply wet primers, paints and wet or dry coatings, visually and mechanically inspect finished items and touch up as required. Must be able to wear a respirator. Product Specialist needed. This individual will act as a liaison between customers and the company for products, drive the development process and technology to meet customer goals and monitor customer stock levels. Will also evaluate customer sites for new products, create product designs, select appropriate material and product type for the application, gain/obtain quotations and submit to customers. Develop plans for new products, observe product performance, work with the plant and design office for product alterations, assist customers in obtaining optimal product performance. Investigate and report on customer complaints, as well as provide necessary support to ensure complaint resolution. This position will include traveling to customer facilities and will require a valid driver’s license and good driving record. Must have experience with MS Word and Excel, AutoCAD and experience in data collection, summation and analysis, as well as strong written and oral communication skills. Bachelor’s Degree in Ceramics or Metallurgy preferred and must have minimum of 10 years experience in a similar position within the steel industry. Temp to hire or direct hire position starting out at $45K-$55K depending on experience.
