Office Positions:

Local company in Benton Harbor, MI. is looking for a part-time Bookkeeper 2-3 days a week. The position requires proficiency in Quick Books, a fundamental understanding of basic accounting and the ability to work with staff reporting data into the accounting office. No real expertise in taxation is required but a minimum of five years work experience in the field of bookkeeping is required. Activities will include reconciling POS reports to bank balances and posting entries to the accounting software. No interaction with payables or receivables is really required other than maintaining supporting data. Payroll is done off site, but reporting time sheets to the payroll company is required. The position, ideally, will require only two to three days a week and a qualified applicant can choose flexible hours provided those hours are relatively consistent. Wage is depending on experience. Customer Service Representative working 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday for a South Bend area company. A minimum of 3 years customer service experience including some cash handling training is required. Knowledge of Advanced Microsoft Office, collections, inside sales and previous call center experience is a plus. Excellent communication and problem solving skills, possess a pleasant phone voice, have a positive attitude, the ability to multi-task and be detail oriented is also required. Receptionist for 1st shift-8am-5pm Monday-Thursday and 8am-4pm on Fridays. Responsibilities will include answering the phone, screen and direct calls, greet persons entering the organization, provide general administrative and clerical support, receive and sort mail and monitor and maintain office equipment.
