QC Jobs:
QC Inspector for 1st shift position working 6:00am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday and 6:00am-10:00am on Friday. Must have 2-3 years of prior quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with precision machining in a Medical and Aerospace environment is preferred. Position will involve inspecting materials and parts to blueprint drawings and specifications for incoming items, work-in-process and final part configurations, examine certifications for type of material and special processing such as heat treatment, plating and surface treatments. Inspect materials and parts for surface defects per drawing notes or blueprint requirements, measures part features accurately using basic hand tools including dial calipers, height gauge, plug gauges and thread gauges. AS9100C and ISO 9001:2008 experience is helpful. Will also support gauge calibration and perform calibration as needed and may also prepare FAIR and PPAP paperwork. Experienced knowledge of GD&T measurements and symbols along with the ability to utilize Microsoft Windows and the ERP system to locate jobs, status operation sequences and log comments. High School diploma or GED is required. Temp to hire position starting out at $13.00/hr-$17.00/hr depending on experience. Local manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Quality Control Specialist to join their team on 3rd shift. Hours are 11:00pm-7:00am with overtime as needed. Must be detail oriented with solid communication skills, able to read prints and use calipers to measure critical dimensions and check parts. Perform inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies or finished company products according to well defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/ or electrical measurements. Rework or reject subassemblies or finished products as required, accurately document the results of the inspections and testing and maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
