Tool and Die Maker for split shift hours to be determined. Must have previous tool and die experience with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and perform die troubleshooting and repair. Experienced individual needed for a Tool Room Die Repair position with a Mishawaka, IN manufacturer. This is a 1st shift opening working 6:00am-2:00pm Monday-Friday plus additional overtime as needed. Responsibilities will include performing tooling repairs on dies, fixtures and other equipment needing machined repairs, assessing die damage/wear and investigating repair alternatives, troubleshooting problem dies and processes, operate tool room equipment, using measuring gauges as needed and participating in Quality functions pertaining to production. Must be able to read and understand blueprints including basic geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. A High school diploma is required. Starting wage of up to $21.00/hr to start. Tool Crib Attendant for 3rd shift. Will work 11:00pm-7:00am Sunday-Thursday with overtime as needed. Will train on 1st shift working 7:00am-3:00pm Monday-Friday with overtime as needed. Duties will include entering new vendors into the system, signing in/checking out tooling for operators and set-up personnel daily and measuring tool crib items for minimum and maximum levels of product. Receiving/distributing UPS packaging, receiving material and packing slips, mailing out tooling that needs sharpening and organize and maintain the tool crib. Create/maintain monthly inventory audit sheets, create shop-wide P.O’s and ordering spot buys and special tooling as needed. Must have a high school diploma or GED, experience in customer service, data entry or scheduling in a manufacturing environment and experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Office. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs as needed and 25lbs regularly. Temp to hire position starting out around $12.00/hr. depending on experience.
