Quality Inspector position working 2nd shift from 4pm-4am Monday-Friday with overtime as needed. Will be responsible for first piece, in-process and final inspection. Must have experience working with blueprints and measuring tools including micrometer, calipers and parts measuring tools. Quality Auditor working 2nd shift from 2:30pm-11:00pm Monday-Friday. Responsibilities include performing incoming/outgoing parts audits, look at the Quality Book at least one a week, label/tags outgoing audits per customer instruction, assisting production department in quality issues and must be able to operate a forklift. Quality Manager working 1st shift from 6:00am-2:30pm plus overtime as needed. Duties include to develop, implement and manage quality systems designed to ensure continuous production of Aluminum and Zinc die castings (consistent with established standards, customer specifications and production goals). Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigate (and correct) customer issues and complaints relating to quality. Provide technical and statistical expertise to teams, formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives. Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other departments to maximize product reliability and minimize costs. Create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures, interpret quality control philosophy to personnel within the Company. Provide and oversee inspection activity for product throughout production cycle. Interact with vendors to ensure quality of all purchased parts, design, develop and implement quality control training programs. A B.S. degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering is desired. A minimum of 7 years related experience required in an ISO 9000 environment (minimum, TS16949 is preferred). Supervisory/management experience, Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques and experience with developing/documenting procedures. Use of Quality Engineering methods, CQE is preferred, familiar with Aluminum & Zinc high pressure die casting, machining, assembly and leak test. Pay starting at $18.00 per hour.
