Local manufacturing company is seeking an experienced 2nd shift Manufacturing Supervisor. Shift hours are 3:00pm-11:00pm Monday-Friday with overtime as required. Will manage a team of 20-25 hourly workers and be responsible for training and mentoring new and existing operators, answering job related questions, issuing verbal and written warnings to operators as needed, maintaining operator efficiency and assisting with employee hiring, performance reviews and dismissals. Will perform tool change procedures, troubleshoot tooling and fixture problems and perform very basic machine maintenance repair (coolant, oils, fixture PM’s). Will also work with the QC Department to ensure product quality, follow Non-Confirming Material procedures, assist in inventory control and help create work instructions and process sheets. Must have previous experience with production supervision, a High School Diploma or GED, possess good math and communication skills and be able to read and interpret drawings and use MS Word/Excel and Outlook. Local manufacturing company is looking for a 1st shift CNC Supervisor. This position is responsible for supervising the CNC department, managing setting up and troubleshooting various machines and operations, monitoring processes and results and prioritizing work under guidelines from management. This position coordinates the activities of production, Maintenance and Quality personnel to achieve optimal results. Duties will be to supervise and train employees, approve employees shift time and work performed, maintain the daily schedules and working with the scheduling department. Resolve any personnel issues, maintain a working relationship with the union, adhere to local, state and federal employment and safety requirements and follow established company policies and procedures. Must have a broad knowledge and mechanical ability pertaining to CNC machines, a working knowledge and ability to perform change overs on CNC’s and Natco drill presses, strong tooling management skills, a working knowledge and understanding of work procedures and blueprints. Must have the ability to properly use a variety of gauges and general understanding of Quality Systems, some knowledge pertaining to TS16949. Must have a minimum of a high school education or equivalent, ten years’ experience in metal machining operations, procedures and process control. Past supervisory experience is a plus and possess excellent written, oral, arithmetic skills and basic computer programs, (Word & Excel).
