Mechanical Assembly for a 1st shift opportunity with a Berrien County manufacturer. Will work 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday and 6:00am-3:30pm on Friday with additional overtime as needed. Position will involve the construction and assembly of furnace components per blueprints and schematic drawings, working with engineers on correct component installation, laying out, fitting and welding components to build structural forms and operating machines such as a shear, press brake and plasma cutter, saws and drills. Must have experience with MIG welding, assembly, carpentry, painting and construction. A High school diploma or GED required along with 3-5 years of experience. Control Panel Builder for a 1st shift position working 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday and 6:00am-3:30pm on Friday with additional overtime as needed. This position is responsible for assembling electrical/electronic systems and components according to schematics and component layout drawings. Duties will include planning and performing work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic theories and principles, written specifications, properties of various materials and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment, working with engineering to coordinate design and resolve layout issues, assisting test/service personnel with technical troubleshooting, cut-out enclosures to layout drawings, lay out, mounting and wiring of components to electrical schematics and installing conduit and completing wiring on capital equipment. Must be able to work overtime on an as-needed basis to maintain production deadlines. Must have an Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or an accredited apprenticeship program, or the equivalent in training/experience in an electrical/electronic technical field.
