Career Opportunities:
Pipefitter needed working 1st shift hours 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday and 6:00am-3:30pm on Friday. Will perform pipefitter duties in the construction of manufacturing furnaces. Position will involve the installation, assembly, fabrication, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of mechanical piping systems. Must have previous experience in assembly, layout and installation of piping, working with blueprints, saws, cutting torches and pipe benders. A high school diploma or GED is required. Wages starting out at $17.00/hr and up depending on experience.
Mechanical Assembly-1st shift opportunity with a Berrien County manufacturer. Will work 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday and 6:00am-3:30pm on Friday with additional overtime as needed. Position will involve the construction and assembly of furnace components per blueprints and schematic drawings, working with engineers on correct component installation, laying out, fitting and welding components to build structural forms and operating machines such as a shear, press brake and plasma cutter, saws and drills. Must have experience with MIG welding, assembly, carpentry, painting and construction. A high school diploma or GED is required along with 3-5 years of experience. Starting wage is $15.00/hr-$18.00/hr depending on experience.
Finishing Tech working 1st shift hours 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday with overtime as needed. This position will consist of installing all finish components (wires, hoses, axles, tires, etc.) on trailer chassis per specifications. Duties will include installation of suspension and running gear components, landing gear assembly and components, wheel components and tires, brake and air components, electrical, lighting and wiring components, mud flaps, VIN plates and any other decals and/or safety components on trailer chassis. Will operate forklifts, hoists, slings and hand tools including torque wrenches, as well as perform inspection both visually and using measuring tools including tape measure, micrometers, functional and cylindrical gauges and scales. Must also have reliable transportation, a stable work history and a high school diploma or GED. Temp positions expected to last for 4 weeks. Starting wage is $15.00/hr.
