We are currently seeking individuals for a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician opening. Will work 2:00pm-10:00pm Monday-Friday with additional overtime as needed. Will be responsible for performing preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment, as well as troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues and completing all required production system documentation including production reports and inspection reports. Must be proficient in programming PLCs (Allen Bradley, DL06, etc.) and H.M.I. systems and have experience working with blueprints and schematics, utilizing measuring tools and hand tools including wrenches, saws and air tools and able to operate forklift as required to perform maintenance duties. Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs on a repetitive basis. Knowledge of robotic welders, stamping presses and benders is a plus. Temp to hire positions starting out at $18/hr-$27/hr depending on experience and qualifications. Mechanical Assembly 1st shift opportunity with a Berrien County manufacturer. Will work 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday and 6:00am-3:30pm on Friday with additional overtime as needed. This position will involve the construction and assembly of furnace components per blueprints and schematic drawings, working with engineers on correct component installation, laying out, fitting and welding components to build structural forms and operating machines such as a shear, press brake and plasma cutter, saws and drills. Must have experience with MIG welding, assembly, carpentry, painting and construction. A High school diploma or GED is required along with 3-5 years of experience.
