Material Handler for 2nd shift working 2:30pm-11:30pm. Duties include cleaning of production area, raw material, storage area and make sure area is clear of all other material. Operating a Hi/Lo in a safe manner, verify labeling is correct and ensure proper safety equipment is used correctly at all times. Mixing raw plastic, cleaning machine hoppers, cleaning dryer hoppers, doing color changes on injection molding machines. filling molding machines with raw material and basic forklift driving. Must have a High School Diploma or GED and 1 year experience with stocking, warehouse, shipping and/or hi-lo operation. This is a temp to hire positon with a company in Stevensville, Mi. Local manufacturing company is seeking an experienced individual for a 2nd shift Material Handler position working 3:00pm-11:00pm Monday-Friday with overtime as needed. Job duties will include receiving incoming products and materials, storing raw materials and maintaining inventory. Ensuring material is properly tagged before moving to different locations, delivering incoming product to end users, staging, labeling and maintaining order of outbound shipments. Emptying scrap hoppers, performing maintenance checks and documentation for lift trucks. Must have a minimum of 1 year of prior forklift/material handling experience.
