Maintenance Technician for 1st shift working 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday and eventually available for 24-hour calls from the plant. This position requires 5 years maintenance experience preferably in a manufacturing environment. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word a plus. Purpose of the position will be to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of the property including but not limited to general facility maintenance, repair of buildings, construction projects and equipment. Responsible for safe and effective working conditions and coordinate the work of technicians within the facilities maintenance department. Must have knowledge of the electrical, mechanical and logistics equipment used in manufacturing, including its safe usage, maintenance and storage. Must have a HS diploma or GED, a clean background and good work history. This is a global high-technology engineering company in the Benton Harbor area. Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift working 4:30pm-3am Monday-Saturday. Will be responsible for performing preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment, as well as troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues and completing all required production system documentation including production reports and inspection reports. Must be proficient in programming PLCs (Allen Bradley, DL06, etc.), H.M.I. systems and have experience working with blueprints and schematics, utilizing measuring tools and hand tools including wrenches, saws, air tools and able to operate a forklift as required to perform maintenance duties. Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs on a repetitive basis and pass a pre-employment drug screen. Knowledge of robotic welders, stamping presses and benders is a plus.
