Always seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for all shifts for a growing Niles, MI company who offers a clean and friendly work environment with a competitive benefits package once hired in. Will be responsible for performing preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment, as well as troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues. Completing all required production system documentation including production reports and inspection reports. Must be proficient in programming PLCs (Allen Bradley, DL06, etc.) and H.M.I. systems and have experience working with blueprints and schematics, utilizing measuring tools and hand tools including wrenches, saws and air tools and able to operate forklift as required to perform maintenance duties. Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs on a repetitive basis. Knowledge of robotic welders, stamping presses and benders is a plus. Temp to hire positions starting out at $18.00/hr-$27.00/hr depending on experience and qualifications. Maintenance Technician – Conducts routine inspections of equipment and facility, performs preventive maintenance when and where required and basic maintenance functions. Diagnosing mechanical/electrical issues including repairs of same on all company equipment as directed. Will clean up any area affected by equipment breakdown or failures such as but not limited to oil from leaks that have been repaired. Will complete daily log sheet for work performed and provide information to supervisor regarding repairs needed or noticed during routine inspections of equipment and facilities. Will have own personal tools to complete work as required and have working knowledge of electrical schematics for equipment. Will have basic knowledge of hydraulic schematics for equipment and have the capability to perform basic electrical wiring related to three phase systems and supply. Plumbing for water and pneumatics shall be required where and when needed. Will have good communication skills and communicate with the maintenance manager on all aspects of work completed on a daily basis. Will work with production employees and cooperate to assist with production priorities. Will possess time management skills and work independently.
