Job duties will include setting up raw parts for processing and moving finished parts designated areas, stocking supplies needed for production lines including packaging supplies, chemical supplies and empty totes, staging material for production, rotating parts and materials as required for FIFO or lot control, placing parts and material in designated locations, loading and unloading trucks in a timely fashion and ensuring that outgoing freight/skids have correct paperwork. Will also fill out daily maintenance schedule and perform preventive maintenance as needed for the fork truck. Local packaging company looking to add one General Labor/Forklift position. Must be able to read a tape measure, be able to lift 35 lbs regularly and 75 lbs. on occasion, must be able to work around solvents and water based adhesives. Must have forklift experience and minor machine maintenance. Must be able to keep coater supplied with material that will be converted, understand basic quality parameters of the products being run and be able to operate an overhead hoist. Must be able to pass a ruler and basic aptitude test. Must have previous clamp truck experience, at least 1 year at an employer in your job history, good transportation and good attendance. Must have a GED or HS Diploma Hours: Monday-Friday 5:00am-3:00pm or 3:00am-1:00pm with additional overtime as needed and some weekends. Wage starts at $12.00/hr.
