Product Specialist/Technical Sales Manager
This person will be the liaison between the customer and the company for all products and will drive the development process and technology to meet customer goals, as well as ensure that customer stocks are sufficient and that production schedule meets the need for usage patterns at the caster while promoting safety and quality awareness. This position will cover customers in the Indiana, Michigan and Ohio areas. This is a direct hire position starting out at $55K – $60K depending on experience with benefits including medical, dental, life, and vision insurance, and 401k. Responsibilities:
Communicating customer requirements
Monitoring customer stock levels to ensure that production schedule meets customer needs
Addressing customer site evaluations for new products
Creating product designs and selecting appropriate material for application
Developing plans for new products to meet customer needs
Observing product performance relative to customer objectives
Assisting customers and aiding them in obtaining optimal performance of the products
Investigating and reporting on customer complaints to determine problem cause and solution
Providing necessary support to ensure that complaints are resolved and reported correctly within the customer’s QA requirements
Requirements:
Must have Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Ceramics or Metallurgy, or Mechanical, Metallurgical or Ceramics back ground or qualification with 3 to 5 years of working experience in Refractory or Steel Industry
Must be skilled in data collection and analysis
Must be experienced with MS Word and Excel, and AutoCAD
Have strong written and oral communication skills
