1st Shift- Electrical Engineer
This position will involve researching, developing, designing and testing electrical components, equipment and systems
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products and systems for industrial purposes
- Develops applications of controls, instruments, systems and prepares electrical schematics, panel
layouts, plc programming, operator interface designs and upgrades/enhances controls on existing
products - Makes engineering changes and improvements within CAD environment and processes engineering change
requests in a timely manner - Participates in design reviews with design team members and reads and interprets technical materials
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from four-year college or university required and two years experience in a “job shop” environment desired; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office software, RSView and Wonder Ware software, PLC programming proficiency with Allen Bradley and Siemans S7 products, AutoCAD drawing software and BPCSW and manufacturing systems software, such as BPCS (AS400).
1st shift opportunity with Berrien County Manufacturer. Will work 6:00am – 2:30pm Monday – Friday with additional Saturday overtime as needed.
