The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup and operation of various grinding machines, including external, centerless, internal, and surface grinders. This role involves working with metal pieces such as machine parts, dies, or tools to achieve precise specifications.
- Set up and operate grinding machines based on blueprints or layouts.
- Plan the sequence of operations to ensure efficient and accurate grinding.
- Select appropriate grinding wheel and dress it using a dressing device.
- Secure and position pieces, choosing feed rates, grinding speeds, and depth of cuts.
- Observe operations, adjusting the position and action of the wheel and piece as needed.
- Verify dimensions of ground pieces for conformance to specifications.
- Previous experience in precision grinding, preferably in a tight tolerance, high precision, CNC machining environment.
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
- Reliable transportation and good attendance record.

We are currently seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual for the position of 1st Shift Deburring Specialist. This role involves the removal of burrs, sharp edges, machine tool marks, and excess metal or surface defects from parts, ensuring the highest quality standards.
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, machine tool marks, and excess metal or surface defects from parts.
- Utilize buffing wheels, hand scrapers, re-taping machines, drill presses, or other polishing equipment as required.
- Good close vision for detailed inspection.
- Previous experience in deburring is essential.
- Background in a precision machining environment is preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques.
