Current Openings:
- Creates shippers/bills of lading, barcode labels, and related paperwork
- Arranges and monitors the transportation and movement of goods
- Contacts and maintains relationships with customers, suppliers, and logistics companies
- Uses forklift to move, load, and unload products and/or materials
- Understands inventory control functions
- Performs clerical and/or data entry functions
- Other duties as needed
- Must have previous shipping/receiving experience
- Must have steel toe boots
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Must have knowledge and experience in inventory control functions
- Must be able to operate a forklift, and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Good work history and reliable transportation a must
Temp to Hire position starting out at $17.00/hr.+, depending on experience. Qualified candidates please call Carrie at 269-605-4133. Hours are 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday – Thursday, Friday hours vary with overtime as needed.
Shipping Production Associate – Split Shift
- Stock and pull inventory
- Utilize computers for daily BOL update to Excel documents
- Process completed orders based on priority and confirm boxed orders match customer, product, and shipping method
- Secure multiple packages with zip machine to ensure proper shipping dimensions and box orders requiring special packing
- Set up and stage shipment orders per shipping logistics vendor
- Coordinate with Customer Service on any order errors/missing shipment information
- Coordinate with Production on missed orders in the shipping que but not found in the shipping department
- Perform safety checks of shipping equipment and daily 5S at workstations and throughout warehouse
- Must have strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multi-task and ability to work in a fast paced work environment
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to make color identification
- Must be able to do physically demanding work requiring standing, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50lbs regularly during the entire shift
- Must be able to read a tape measure and have good math, reading and writing abilities
- Previous shipping experience and working knowledge of MS Excel is preferred
- Previous experience working with distributors and/or knowledge of graphic arts or sign industry a plus
Will work 12:00pm-8:30pm Monday-Friday with occasional mandatory weekend overtime. Training will be required in the morning from 8:00am-4:30pm for at least a week. Wage starts out at $15.00/hr. Please contact Kelly Rudi at 574-968-1413.
